Ancestral Meal Plan

My husband and I are diving into the ancestral way of eating — I’m calling it balanced carnivore. He has done this strictly before with great success and, for the most part, continues to eat this way. On the other hand, this is quite a big deal for me considering I once was a headstrong vegan and more recently, someone that could survive off of carbs. (Give me allllll the pasta and bread). I believe there are extremes with everything and I also still believe that a plant based diet has wonderful benefits and healing properties but, for me, the longevity of it wasn’t something that I felt was sustainable. My thing with nutrition and health is that I am always learning. My mind is always open and willing to hear new concepts and as they make sense nutritionally and health wise for me and my family, I’m excited to learn more and try them out. As I learn more into the homesteading way of life and am connected to our land and the plants and animals grown and raised here, this ancestral style of eating just makes more and more sense. The above meal plan is our general idea for weekly meals.
